Speculations on astronomy, astrophysics, news I find interesting,
science and science policy.
In particular: gravitational radiation
sources, black holes, exoplanets and astrobiology.
I will digress into basically whatever I feel like whenever.
And, of course, cats. To say nothing of the dog.

As the only decent source of information these days is the Daily Show, I think you are calling for Samantha Bee as our first female president. She's proactive (Jon Stewart reads the news, it's kind of reactive by definition), informed (this knocks out Ed Helms, who specializes in looking confused), and pretends really well to be empathetic (neither Rob Corddry nor Stephen Colbert put forth the effort). Plus, she actually curses much better than W, who is really something of a fratboy amateur, no matter how clever he thinks himself....
That is absolutely brilliant.
Plus she can appeal to the undecided voters...
