Astronomy May

Great cover article in Astronomy Mag May issue... ;-)

I am biased: the pretty pictures halfway through are from Miroslav Micic, a PhD student working with me and Tom Abel

Basic idea is to postulate formation of moderate mass black holes at high (> 10) redshift and then trace their dynamical history forward to see where they end up and try to infer what they do, specifically their merger and accretion history.

Fun stuff, pretty pictures.
